One Love Polaroid - Karen Payton Art

Karen Payton’s One Love Polaroid celebrates the charm of instant photography with a vintage camera recreated in soft blues, rich purples, and a bright rainbow stripe. A colorful lightning bolt appears on the emerging photograph, adding a playful surprise to a familiar classic.

Karen constructs her original artwork from clothing, fabric, and other textile materials. Layered circles form the camera lens, patterned fabrics give its body character, and visible stitching traces the details—bringing warmth and imagination to an object already full of nostalgia.
